My Go-To Smoothie Recipe

If you think I enjoy cooking, well honey, you are quite mistaken.  I’ve already accepted long ago that I will never make a good housewife (only a good trophy wife wink wink).  So in order to cope with my laziness in the kitchen, I’ve mastered the art of making smoothies cues applause.  And lucky for all of you, I’m going to share my favorite go-to smoothie recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of kale or spinach (got to get your daily greens in people!)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup of frozen mixed fruit (I get the assorted packs from Trader Joe’s, either the tropical mix or the mixed berries)
  • 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 cup of almond milk (Almond Breeze Original is my fave)

Directions

  1. Put all of your ingredients into the blender and turn on (I use a Nutribullet so that I don’t even have to pour the smoothie into a separate glass – work smarter, not harder people!!!)

VOILA!  A nutrient-packed GO-TO smoothie 🙂
